The ManxBiker website is an Isle of Man based, motorcycle site and hopefully will cater for intended viewers irrespective of whether or not they are currently motorcyclists. The underlying theme here is generally based around motorcycle activities within the Isle of Man. This does not mean that the rest of the World is excluded but…….

(a) we have to have somewhere to start (b) the Isle of Man is after all the "Motorcycle Capital of the World" to many thousands of people of all nationalities and (c) the editor is biased, and proud of it.

Overall however, the message is that irrespective of whether or not we are being pressured by speed restrictions, rapidly increasing motorcycle insurance premiums, prehistoric legislation which says its safer to be blinded by the sun than to use a tinted visor, at the end of the day we will still ride motorcycles and we will still have many mature (in years anyway !) individuals coming back to motorcycling, for the same old reasons.
